It's the biggest game of the season, United v Liverpool. The home side prepared for the threat of Firmino, Mane & Salah but there was another danger lurking in the background.

United went into the game with injury concerns & things took a turn for the worse when Nemanja Matic was ruled out after suffering a 'nasty knock' in training. Scott McTominay took his place.

The star of the first half was Hamstring Strain who really was thriving in its element causing no less than four injury related substitutions before the break. It was a remarkable performance & messed up Jurgen Klopp's tactical master plan.

But even with United's squad being tested to its limit Ole's team nullified their opponents. Luke Shaw was particularly effective shackling Mohamed Salah to the point where the Liverpool forward was subbed off.

Such was United's control that David de Gea had a relatively quiet game. Indeed the home team looked the more likely side to score given the flow of the contest.

Still the fact that a number of key players are out as a result of injuries & desperate time calls for desperate measures. If only there was an outspoken fitness expert who could hatch a plan to minimise the risk of muscle injuries.

Then again Hamstring Strain is not one to back down from a challenge. So the game ended 0-0 and Ole's picked up 26 points from a possible 30. Not too shabby.
