BADLY DRAWN MATCH REPORT #34 MANCHESTER UNITED vs PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN
There was excitement in the air as United returned to European action but unfortunately the visitors, Paris Saint-Germain, were determined to spoil the party.
Going into the game PSG were without a few key players tipping the scales in United's favour.
But Thomas Tuchel devised a tactical plan to nullify United's attacking threats
United's cause wasn't really helped with the refereeing performance of Daniele Orsato who decided to go all Oprah with his yellows though perhaps a certain Parisian was rather lucky to escape with just the one booking
Ashley Young for his part got reacquainted with former teammate Angel Di Maria sending him though time and space itself.
In truth United didn't threaten & PSG made their chances count plundering two goals at Old Trafford. United's European record at home this season doesn't make for pretty viewing, just one goal in four games.
The chances of United overturning the deficit seem slim especially without the suspended Paul Pogba. Still stranger things have happened. Over to you Ole.
