There was excitement in the air as United returned to European action but unfortunately the visitors, Paris Saint-Germain, were determined to spoil the party.

Going into the game PSG were without a few key players tipping the scales in United's favour.

Ashley Young for his part got reacquainted with former teammate Angel Di Maria sending him though time and space itself.

In truth United didn't threaten & PSG made their chances count plundering two goals at Old Trafford. United's European record at home this season doesn't make for pretty viewing, just one goal in four games.
